The exhibition Eanangiella - Voice of the land officially opens on 16.1.2026 at the Oulu Art Museum, and more than 70 sami artists are exhibited there, with a variety of artworks.
Dáiddadállu's artist partner Ann-Sofie Kallok is one the artists whose works are in the exhibition, which runs until May 3.
Ann-Sofie is proud that her avant garde art is being shown in Oulu:
– I am very happy to be part of such a big exhibition as Eanangiella – Voice of the land. This is also part of the Oulu 2026 European Capital of Culture event, which makes it even bigger, and I am really looking forward to the opening, she says.
The entire weekend is full of different cultural events, connected to the exhibition opening, which is Friday Jan 16, at 5 PM (Finnish time).
The events of the Capital of Culture include a separate section called Risku, and there are many sámi activities in the Oulu 2026 public programme. Risku should highlight the vibrant, borderless sami culture. Check out the program on the Oulu 2026 website to see when and where the sami performances, concerts and exhibitions are.
Among the many exhibiting artists, two of them are also DD's artist partners, namely Hilde Skancke Pedersen and Hilda Länsman.

Ann-Sofie's artworks have been experienced by many in many places, worldwide.
The performance Guoddi combines art, dance and music, and is produced by Ann-Sofie along with others; Ánna-Katri Helander, Anthoni Hætta and Sebastian Björkman.
Last year they performed extensively, including at the Johkamohki market, the KulturSápmi event in Guovdageaidnu, the Bonavista Biennale in Canada and the Suialaa Arts Festival in Greenland.
When the two dancers do not wear Ann-Sofie's artworks, they are on display in the exhibition space, as they are now at the Oulu Art Museum.
