Dáiddállu member Maret Anne Sara is exhibiting her project Pile O´Sápmi at BACA´s  (The Biennial of Contemporary Aboriginal Art) 5th edition.

The theme of the fifth BACA is «Honoring our affinities». Under the curation of David Garneau (Métis) assisted by Rudi Aker (Wolastoqiyik) and Faye Mullen (Anishinaabe), the Biennale will present the work of more than forty artists.

Representations of the world in Aboriginal cultures extend the concept of kinship beyond blood ties, unions and adoption. «All of our relationships» is a familiar and inclusive expression among indigenous people, including those present and absent, all living creatures and ecosystems.

BACA 2020 will be held at the following exhibition locations: Art Mûr, La Guilde, La Maison des Régions, the McCord Museum, Pierre-François Ouellette contemporary art and the art gallery at Stewart Hall.
