Dáiddadállu ready for Suialaa Arts Festival!
Sámi participants are ready with an exciting and varied program in Nuuk, Kalallit Nunaat. Dáiddadállu has a group of artist partners involved in various performances, talks, workshops and vernissages.

Thursday 23 October
- Avitseqatigiitta - Lets Share - Talk stage in Girjegumpi
When: 11:00 - 15:00
- The rise of the Sámi embassy - Beaska Niillas is installing a lávvu (sámi tent) outside the cultural centre. He is a sámi yoiker, actor, duojár, poet and land defender from Deatnu in north Sápmi. He tells that this is a lávvu of kinship to Nuuk, and it will be a Sámi embassy for as long as sámis are visiting.

- Inuussutigut // Ealát – an exhibition that brings Greenlandic and Sami artists together in a unique encounter between two Arctic cultures. Outdoor exhibitions with art by Hilde Skancke Pedersen (Áhkut) and Máret Ánne Sara (Rávnnjit-satelitt), including greenlandic Arnajaraq Støvlbæk.

- Kiuryaq - is a theatre performance that explores our relationship with the Northern Lights, with artists from indigenous and non-indigenous peoples of Canada, Greenland, Sápmi territory and Alaska. This is a collaboration where artist partner Rawdna Carita Eira has worked together with Reneltta Arluk and Alon Nashman.

Never whistle to the northern lights!
- Suoidnekaboom – Performance created by Máret Ánne Sara, Anitta Katriina Suikkari and Anja Saiva Bongo Bjørnstad together with Alexandra Wingate and Li Taiga. Performing in Nuuk Ina Dokmo and Ululinannguaq Olsen.

This event is every day, where interesting talks happen in Joar Nango's installation Girjegumpi. It is a collaboration between Nuuk Art Museum, the Girjegumpi team and Dáiddadállu.
